Introdução: A socialização é o processo por meio do qual o indivíduo se interage com outras pessoas e aprende a ser um membro da sociedade. Essa interação é fundamental para o desenvolvimento do ser humano. Objetivo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar o papel da socialização no período da infância na educação infantil. Método: Através da pesquisa bibliográfica foi investigada a opinião de alguns autores entre eles: Vygotsky, Wallon, Freire, Chauí e outros, sobre como a criança se socializa na educação infantil. Resultados Principais: Observa-se que a pesquisa teórica foi a que apoiou toda a elaboração deste trabalho. A partir da revisão literária, foi possível perceber da importância da socialização dentro da escola. Considerações Finais: Através desta pesquisa chegou-se à conclusão de que a socialização na etapa da Educação Infantil, colabora com aprendizagens sociais e morais, facilitando também o processo de socialização infantil, pois a criança é um ser em formação e precisa de cuidados e orientações adequados para que possa crescer num ambiente saudável e acolhedor.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Socialization is the process through which an individual interacts with other people and learns to be a member of society. This interaction is fundamental to human development. Objective: This work aims to show the role of socialization in early childhood education. Method: Through bibliographic research, the opinions of several authors, including Vygotsky, Wallon, Freire, Chauí, and others, on how children socialize in early childhood education were investigated. Main results: It is observed that theoretical research supported the entire elaboration of this work. From the literature review, it was possible to perceive the importance of socialization within the school. Final considerations: Through this research, it was concluded that socialization in early childhood education contributes to social and moral learning, also facilitating the child's socialization process, since the child is a being in formation and needs adequate care and guidance so that they can grow in a healthy and welcoming environment.
