RESUMO
As infecções é uma das grandes responsáveis pela mortalidade tornando um problema para saúde pública. A problemática leva aos esforços de uma maneira de identificar e evitá-las de forma resolutivo e eficaz. Assim, este artigo justifica-se pela importância de assistência de enfermagem no setor de UTIN evitando as possibilidades e riscos de infecções. Por meio de procedimentos que minimizem a propagação da infecção hospitalar e compreender qual é papel da enfermagem na UTIN. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, qualitativa, descritivo feito a partir do levantamento de referências teóricas já analisadas, e publicadas, por meios escritos e eletrônicos, como, artigos científicos. Mediante o que foram levantadas na pesquisa bibliográfica que retrata a realidade, as técnicas os desafios dos profissionais da enfermagem e as dificuldades que encontram com as infecções dentro de uma UTIN. Diante desse cenário os impactos são imprescindíveis tanto a enfermagem como a medicina e todos os profissionais que atuam no controle das infecções. Contudo essa pesquisa sugere-se importância assistencial do profissional de enfermagem na UTI neonatal, em relação a reciclagem e capacitação dos mesmos no que diz respeito a orientação da vigilância epidemiológica.
SUMMARY
Infections are one of the major responsible for mortality, making it a problem for public health. The problem leads to efforts in a way to identify and avoid them in a resolutive and effective way. Thus, this article is justified by the importance of nursing care in the NICU sector, avoiding the possibilities and risks of infections. Through procedures that minimize the spread of nosocomial infection and understand the role of nursing in the NICU. This is a bibliographic, qualitative, descriptive research made from the survey of theoretical references already analyzed, and published, by written and electronic means, as scientific articles. Through what were raised in the bibliographic research that portrays the reality, the techniques the challenges of nursing professionals and the difficulties they encounter with infections within a NICU. In view of this scenario, the impacts are indispensable both nursing and medicine and all professionals who work in the control of infections. However, this research suggests the importance of nursing professionals ' care in the neonatal ICU, in relation to the recycling and training of them with regard to the orientation of epidemiological surveillance.
